Custom authority groups and users

Structured user and authority group management is a key component of modern marketing and communication platforms. In the eworx Marketing Suite, individual permissions can be assigned in a targeted manner to efficiently and securely map out different roles within an organization.

Flexible rollers for a variety of applications

Not every user requires the same level of access to features and data. That is why the eworx Marketing Suite allows you to assign different roles and authority groups - tailored to specific job responsibilities within the company.

Typical examples of roles include:

  • Marketing Manager – Access to campaigns, statistics, and content
  • Content-Editors – Editing campaigns and content
  • Analysts – Access to reports and analyses

This clear division of roles ensures that users have access only to the functions they actually need.

User Management and Custom Authority Groups

Users and authority groups are managed centrally via the User and Authority Group Management feature within the eworx Marketing Suite.

New users can be created under the following menu item:

Administration → Users → Add

After creation, the user should be assigned to an appropriate permission group. This is done in the tab Authority Groups

This makes it easy to assign standardized roles to multiple users and manage them centrally.

Important Requirements and Notes

Only users with the following authority groups are authorized to create new users:

  • mailworx Administrator
  • mailworx Administrator ENTERPRISE

This ensures that sensitive administrative functions are available only to authorized individuals.

Client management with customizable authority groups

The eworx Marketing Suite supports comprehensive account management. A account represents a separate area within the system - for example, for different companies, departments, brands, or customers.

Users can be assigned to one or more accounts. The assignment is made in the respective user profile under the tab Accounts

This allows for the flexible mapping of complex organizational structures. Users can work across account environments or be restricted to specific areas as needed.

Advantages of assigning individual rights

The combination of user management, authority groups, and account control offers numerous advantages:

  • Enhanced data security
  • Clear lines of responsibility
  • More efficient workflows
  • Flexible scalability
  • Centralized management of all user permissions

In this way, the eworx Marketing Suite lays the foundation for secure, structured, and professional collaboration -even within complex organizational structures.
