[EN] CRM Connector - Overview
The CRM Connector enables the synchronization of contacts, leads, campaigns, and other CRM data between Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 and the eworx Marketing Suite
The CRM Connector is a paid add-on for the eworx Marketing Suite and must be purchased separately.
Configuration is also required before use. This results in initial investment costs for licensing and setup.

Campaign planning in eMS using contact data from the CRM
eMS offers comprehensive subscriber management for precise subscriber group segmentation and can therefore be operated without integration with other systems. However, the contact data required for creating subscriber groups is often sourced from the CRM system. This use case is particularly relevant when contacts from analog sources, such as trade shows, are also created in the CRM and are to be included in eMS newsletter campaigns.
CRM contacts are synchronized with the eMS at user-defined intervals. The eMS then performs precise segmentation of the subscriber groups based on the contact data imported from the CRM..

Campaign Planning in the CRM System
The CRM can also be used as a starting point for target audience segmentation. In this process, target audiences are typically created in the CRM as marketing lists. These customizable marketing lists, including the associated contact data, are synchronized with eMS and created there as (static) target audience lists. You can then assign these to the desired eMS mailing campaign.
In addition, campaigns and their associated activities can be created in the CRM. “Email” campaign activities are synchronized with the eworx Marketing Suite and processed there
Use Case 4Updating eMS campaign data in the CRM system
+
Updating eMS campaign data in the CRM system
- Updates through marketing campaigns: Campaign metrics such as opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and email bounces are recorded in eMS and automatically transferred to the CRM system. This information is tracked in the CRM customer history and enables targeted follow-up by the sales team.
- Updating contact information: If contacts change their preferences or contact information during an eMS campaign—for example, via a newsletter link—these updates are saved in the eMS and automatically synchronized with the CRM system.
