[EN] Cross-account functions - Events & Forms

Copy events to other accounts

If an existing event is to be used in a different account, it can be copied efficiently and systematically. This process fully transfers the event itself, all associated sub events, the event form, and linked campaigns. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual creation and allows existing structures to be reused in a targeted manner.

The copy function significantly reduces implementation effort, minimizes manual intervention, and simultaneously lowers the risk of errors or inconsistencies. Especially for recurring event formats, scalable event series, or standardized processes, it helps ensure consistently high quality and consistent workflows across multiple accounts.

Furthermore, the function enables rapid scaling of event concepts by allowing proven setups to be efficiently transferred to additional accounts. This not only creates operational efficiency but also supports a uniform alignment of campaigns and communication measures.

Following the copy process, all content in the target account can be flexibly adapted. This allows specific requirements, subscriber groups, local conditions, or individual parameters of the respective event to be specifically addressed without altering the underlying structure.

Usage

To copy an event, navigate to the event overview. There, open the options menu by clicking the three dots to the right of the desired event and select the “Copy” function.

First, specify the target account to which the event should be copied. You can also customize the name of the event. Additionally, choose whether the event form, sub events, and campaign activities should be copied as well.

The copying process then takes place in several steps:

  1. Step – Event details: In this step, you will edit the basic details of the event, such as the date, time, location, and other relevant information.
  2. Step – Event form: Here, you can customize the name of the event form. You can also choose whether to copy the linked campaign as well.
  3. Step – Sub events: In this step, you specify which sub events to include. You can edit the details of each sub event directly.
  4. Step – Campaign Activity: Finally, the campaign settings are configured. Among other things, you can customize the sender, sender address, and no-reply address.

Copy forms to other accounts

If you want to use an existing form in a different account, you can copy it. This will transfer the content, settings, and structure to the selected target account.

After the copy process is complete, the form will be available in the target account and can be customized there as needed.

The same procedure applies to event forms.

Usage

When you are in the form overview, click the three dots to the right of the desired form to open the options menu. Select the “Create copy for another account” option, and then specify the destination account to which the form should be copied.
